Adtrak Going for Growth

As part of its ambitious growth plans leading digital marketing agency, Adtrak has appointed its first Sales & Marketing Director Andrew Blackwood.

Last year the agency announced its desire to increase profitability within the next 12 months as part of a wider strategic growth plan – the biggest change to the business in its 21-year history.  Adtrak provides digital marketing services to clients across the UK and internationally.

Andrew joins with an exemplary track record spanning sales, marketing, and operational roles with leading brands such as npower, Texaco and global digital marketing companies, including his most recent role at London based Crimtan which was listed by the Sunday Times as one of 10 tech companies to watch.

He also has extensive experience working with smaller owner managed operations. An entrepreneurial multi-channel marketer he brings experience in digital strategy, acquisition and retention campaigns; as well as managing digital teams to maximise return on investment (ROI).

Last year Adtrak’s Managing Director Chris Robinson set out the ambitious plans for growth for the 120 strong agency.  Established in 1997, Adtrak is a recognised Google Premier Partner, with a turnover of £7.7m (increasing 11.5 per cent) and £1.6m profit.

Adtrak was founded by Chris Robinson and Alex Lavender initially specialising in the creation of directory adverts.  Since then, Adtrak has enjoyed rapid and sustained growth. It launched a web design service in 2005 and from then, has grown to become a full-service agency - offering every aspect of digital marketing including SEO, PPC (pay per click), graphic design, copywriting, photography, video and social media.

Chris comments

“At a time of massive growth in the market for digital services and want to ensure we continue to stay at the forefront.  Andrew is a great addition to the team and his experience in both B2C and B2B sectors for blue chip and start-up organisations will be a huge boost.   He has a proven track record of delivery and making an impact and we’re delighted he has joined the team.”

Andrew commented:

"I'm delighted to be joining Adtrak at this very exciting time for the company. It is a very successful business with ambitious plans for growth. I look forward to developing the company's marketing and communications activities; capitalising on my extensive experience in the digital sector."

Adtrak has experienced tremendous growth and development over the past 21 years. Having employed just nine people in 2007, it reached 50 members of staff in 2012 and 100 members of staff in 2016.

It’s been a dynamic period for Adtrak, last year the agency signed up its very first American clients and now has a growing list of customers its supports stateside.
