Unmissable artisan market signals the return of regular events at The Eagle Market

The Eagle Market has announced the return of its much-loved monthly markets, showcasing the best of small traders and makers in Derbyshire.

Its exciting calendar of events will kick off this month with an unmissable artisan market, where shoppers will be able to browse and buy everything from vintage clothing and unique antiques to handmade gifts and exclusive art.

There will also be a tempting selection of tasty, homemade food and fresh, seasonal produce on offer throughout the day on Saturday 27 April.

Organised in partnership with local events company, Curly Magpie, the markets will take place on the fourth Saturday of every month during 2019.

In the past few months, The Eagle Market has seen a host of new traders, including Spondon Bistro Café & Meze, Pyclet Parlour, Forget Me Not and Vintage Keepsakes, joining its strong mix of small businesses offering fresh produce, a wide range of services and more.

Carly Salisbury, marketing manager at intu Derby, said:

“We’re delighted to announce a year of events for the Eagle Market, and are very much looking forward to teaming up with Curly Magpie to offer visitors an even greater selection of fantastic local produce and unique items.

“Home to a vibrant mix of small, independent businesses offering a variety of quality products and services, we are dedicated to continuing our work to develop and enhance The Eagle Market. We are certain the return of the monthly markets will only further add to its offering, and hope the community will join us for the artisan market in April,” she added.
