Vistage Helps Midlands Business Owners to ‘Future-Proof’ Their Operations

One of the UK’s biggest events for business owners and leading execs is coming to Sutton Coldfield on April 12th, centred around the theme of future-proofing business strategies.

World leading peer advisory group, Vistage, will be holding its Midlands Open Day at the Belfry Hotel in a few weeks’ time. The event will feature a keynote speech from renowned business strategist Thimon de Jong and an interactive Brexit update session with economist, Roger Martin-Fagg.

As well as these speaker sessions throughout the day, the event will bring together over 200 CEO’s, MD’s and senior business people from across the region to meet other Vistage members and make new connections.

Thimon will delve into the modern world of digitalisation, robotisation and technology and discuss the impact of this new age of business operations on humans. Throughout his session, Thimon will explore three main topics: the human side of technology, digital balance in a connected society and the future ethics of our changing world. Through his interactive and charismatic approach, Thimon will explain how businesses must embrace these rapid changes and how MDs and Execs can incorporate digitalisation and technology into their business strategies for growth and success.

Running with the theme of ‘future-proofing’ business, the event’s afternoon session will feature expert insight from top economist, Roger Martin-Fagg, who will update Vistage members and guests on the latest challenges and opportunities to expect from Brexit. Members and guests will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns on the developing situation.

Chris Everard, Midlands Vistage Chair, commented on the upcoming event. He said:

“In this ever-changing world, it is essential that as business owners, we are aware of the developments in automation, robotics and artificial intelligence and how this impacts our future plans. By considering what these changes mean for the future ethics of our companies and how humans will have to deal with this technology through Thimon’s talk, our visitors will have some great insight into how to manage these issues and challenges over the coming years.

“Having seen Roger speak many times before, I am very much looking forward to hearing his overview of the Brexit situation, especially after the 29th March exit deadline. The event is set to be an extremely informative and worthwhile day, with plenty of opportunities for visitors and Vistage members to meet and connect with like-minded individuals.”

Vistage is the world’s largest provider of private advisory groups for business owners, CEO’s and executives, with over 21,000 members worldwide.
