Northamptonshire charities and organisations to benefit from launch of Community Fund

Leading Northamptonshire developer David Wilson Homes South Midlands has launched a Community Fund scheme to strengthen its ties within the areas in which it is building new homes.

The David Wilson Homes Community Fund will donate £1,000 each month to a charity or organisation in its operational areas, which include Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, supporting the activities carried out in the local area.

John Dillon, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said:

“We’re delighted to be launching the Community Fund, a scheme which will be able to offer valuable support to those in need within the local areas in which we build.

“As the country’s leading housebuilder we are committed to creating a positive legacy. We want to lead the industry not just in the quality of the homes and developments we build, but also in our work with charities and good causes throughout the UK.”

Last year £1.2 million was donated across the company in the UK, but this year the goal is to raise that figure considerably, through such work as the new David Wilson Homes Community Fund.

In 2019, David Wilson Homes is also fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as its charity of the year.
