Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

ProCon backed by 15 patrons for 2019

ProCon backed by 15 patrons for 2019

Fifteen businesses are supporting the work of ProCon Leicestershire in 2019 as Patrons of the property and construction network.

It’s the biggest number of Patrons since ProCon’s 2012 introduction of the group of backers for its work connecting people and businesses in the construction and property industries.

There are four new Patrons for 2018: the office designers Blueprint Interiors; the law firm Shakespeare Martineau; architects Stephen George + Partners; and the multi-disciplinary consultancy TMDP.

Continuing their support are: legal business Allardice Associates; waste and recycling company Bakers Waste; insurance brokers Berkeley Insurance Group; Harborough-based Corporate Architecture; contractor Danaher & Walsh; consulting engineers Diamond Wood and Shaw; law firm Howes Percival; professional services provider MDA Consulting; contractor Premier Development Contractors; manufacturer Unique Window Systems; and contractor Willmott Dixon.

The backing of the businesses, including many based in Leicestershire, enables the 19-year-old organisation to run its series of events throughout the year for its 600-plus members. Attendance at ProCon events can form part of professionals’ CPD (Continuing Professional Development).

The first event of 2019 took place at City Hall and focused on the Leicester office market, examining the current challenges and hearing the views of agents and local authorities.

The Patrons’ support also helps sustain ProCon’s website which provides a platform for individual members and firms to connect with each other and to share news and views.

ProCon chair Pam Allardice said:

“Many thanks to our new and continuing Patrons, whose support enables ProCon to create a vibrant forum to meet face to face and online right across the year.”
