Homebuilder provides platform for new sales advisor to expand skill set

Striving to provide opportunities for career progression within the company, housebuilder Mulberry Homes has helped its new Sales Advisor build on her skill set at its Hursley Park development in Great Bowden.

Nicole Yap, originally from Malaysia but who has lived in Kibworth for the last 12 years, has become the latest addition to the developer’s growing team.

She has a degree in Software Engineering after graduating from the University of Leicester, where she also works part-time as an Associate Tutor, in addition to her role as a freelance interpreter at the hospitals in Leicester and Coventry.

Nicole said:

“The nature of my work at Mulberry Homes is completely different from my other two part-time jobs. I enjoy working as a Sales Advisor as I love meeting new people and looking at the different styles of properties on site.

“Since I am very new to this industry, there is plenty of room for improvement to perform my daily tasks. Mulberry Homes is fantastic in providing the relevant training sessions to help me to carry out my job at Hursley Park.

“Meeting different people and helping them to find their lovely home is very rewarding in this job.”

Some of Nicole’s responsibilities include showing the customers the available properties and assessing their status, maintaining a good relationship with the site team and carrying out the necessary admin work.

Nicole added:

“The environment and atmosphere in Great Bowden and when I attend my training at head office are both professional and pleasant. This makes me feel very comfortable while adjusting myself to this new job.

“I had heard great reviews from friends that work for Mulberry Homes and this is what attracted me to the company.

“We as a team at Hursley Park work hard to deliver a world-class service to achieve an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.”

Kerry Jones, Head of Sales at Mulberry Homes, said:

“We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for growth and career progression at Mulberry Homes and we’re thrilled that Nicole is enjoying her new role with us.

“We endeavour to offer both professional training and hands-on experience for our employees and Nicole will be able to learn from the very best working with an experienced site team at Hursley Park.”

Hursley Park now has just three properties remaining, with prices ranging from £444,950 to £749,950, meaning keen house hunters don’t have long to secure their forever home at the development.

Established in 2011 and based in Northamptonshire, Mulberry Homes is a medium housebuilder that provides quality properties across the wider midlands. It specialises in individual and small developments with their own looks and personalities and builds traditional homes with modern layouts.
