Law firm kicks off new season with youth football team sponsorship

LEADING law firm Nelsons has announced its support for Bingham Town Football Club’s under 8s football team who will be playing in a brand-new kit after receiving sponsorship from the Nottingham firm.

Head coach Steve Fern, who is also partner and financial director at Nelsons, said:

“Due to affordability, the football club phases in new kits for teams on three-year cycles and the under 8s weren’t due a new one this year.

“The sponsorship from Nelsons has allowed the boys to turn up to games against some amazing opposition with added comfort and confidence because of the new kits. They really do look the part.

“The whole team is very grateful for Nelsons’ generosity. Supporting local causes is an important part of our culture at Nelsons – we love to see our donations making a real difference to the lives of others.

“Sponsoring grassroots football does more than just put shirts on backs – youth football brings lots of benefits to the local community and a kit gives the young players a sense of belonging and pride.”

The team has had some amazing experiences over the last few seasons resulting in lots of fun and enjoyment for players and parents and with many of the players having been scouted for a variety of junior teams, including Nottingham Forest Development, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Lincoln City, Derby County, Leicester City and Sheffield United.
