Reynolds Catering Supplies - The road to becoming a national supplier of chilled foods

As part of a focus on the food service sector, Tony Reynolds, Managing Director of Reynolds Catering Supplies will be the guest speaker at the next Saffery Champness Food & Drink forum. 

A series of talks followed by dinner arranged specifically for entrepreneurial companies involved in the food and drink sector.

Mr Reynolds will be talking about the food service sector and explaining how Reynolds has grown to become a £200m company and a major national supplier of chilled foods that employs 1200 people.

The event takes place on Thursday 28 March 2019 at the George Hotel in Stamford from 6pm and includes a Q&A and private dining afterwards. Co-hosting alongside Saffery Champness are Barclays Bank and More People.

The Saffery Champness Food & Drink forums were established to encourage business leaders and owners to talk about their experiences.

Reynolds Foods is a family business founded in 1945. Its headquarters are in Waltham Cross, London, and it has depots across the UK from which it manages over 3,000 daily orders to the UK’s leading restaurants, pubs, bars, event venues, schools, universities and workplace caterers.

Tony Reynolds is a third-generation greengrocer who has been involved with the family business since childhood, initially working the market stall in Ridley Road, Hackney. After an early career in banking at Barclays, Tony joined the family business alongside his father Dave in 1988. Since then, he has driven the rapid expansion of Reynolds to the multi-million pound company it is today.
