Cowens Group Awarded Investors in People Silver Accreditation

Insurance broker and financial planning company, Cowens Group, has been awarded the coveted silver standard by Investors in People.

The accreditation is one of the most well-acknowledged and highly rated awards for team development in the country and is presented to companies after a full evaluation of their management structure and team work.

Paul Chaplin, CEO of Cowens Group commented on the award.

He said: “This award is a direct reflection of our fantastic team, which works hard to support one another and strives to ensure the very best for our business. The silver standard recognises the support our managers show their teams and helps to boost our reputation as one of the fairest employers in the region. We are delighted to have the opportunity to highlight the incredible work of our employees and shout about our great staff culture.

“This is a great accolade for all of our employees across all of our brands and gives us a great opportunity to work towards achieving the Gold and Platinum awards. We have a detailed report on where we did well and where the assessor thinks we can improve, and we will be incorporating the assessment into our practices and policies going forward.

The Mansfield headquartered business celebrates the award after recently undergoing a full rebrand, which brought all five Cowens brands under the ‘group’ umbrella. The business, which has four branches across the UK, now hopes to grow and expand its team and work towards the Gold and Platinum Investors in People awards.
