Leading IT support provider appoints new Senior Technician

Your IT Department LTD have expanded its technical team.

Experienced IT Engineer David Munton has joined the business bringing the Your IT Team to 12. David joins from Radcom UK where he held the position of Technical Support Engineer and has specialist experience in the installation of large-scale wireless solutions. David has worked previously with Your IT Directors Lee Hewson and Simon Cox.

David said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining Your IT Department. The business has grown significantly over the past 18 months and the Directors clearly have ambitious plans which I’m keen to be part of. I’ve worked with Lee and Simon in the past and they, along with the rest of the team, have really welcomed me into the fold. It’s a lovely working environment and the business has some excellent clients that I’m really looking forward to working with’

‘Clients both old and new have been requesting increasingly large scale, complex projects from us and so we needed to add to the technical team at a senior level. David brings a considerable amount of skill and experience to the business, and it is a bonus that we’ve been able to bring in someone that we’ve worked with before. We believe this familiarity has helped David hit the ground running.’

The Eastwood based company is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year and is hoping to build on a successful 2018 which included being ranked the best small Managed Service Provider in the East Midlands in the prestigious MSP501 list.

‘As we move into our 10th year it is an exciting time for Your IT Department. We’ve been able to secure some excellent new clients over the past few months and we had a really positive end to 2018. The new year is shaping up to be another year of growth for the business. David has experience in managing big projects and this will be especially useful as the size and complexity of our typical client is increasing. We doubt that David will be the only appointment we make this year!’

Your IT Department boasts clients across the East Midlands as well as in Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham and London and provides a wide range of IT support services including managed IT Support, telephony, network and server support and data back-up and recovery.
