To venue for fabulous fashion extravaganza

Lincoln BIG today announced more exciting news – after securing the jewel in the city’s crown and top comperes for this year’s Lincoln Fashion Week finale.
With the event promises to be even bigger and better than ever, more sponsors and retailers are also being urged not too miss out on a brilliant opportunity to promote themselves and their fashions and services at the event on Friday, May 17, 2019.
Lincoln BIG’s Fashion Week organiser Jacinta Peachey said:
“We are thrilled to let everyone know that Lincoln Cathedral is to host our glittering catwalk finale, which will be the highlight of LFW, which runs from May 10 to 17.
“We really couldn’t have found a more magnificent venue for this event. It will provide a dazzling backdrop to the catwalk finale and show our models and the latest looks off to perfection.
“With all the extra space that the Cathedral offers, it also means we can accommodate many more fashion lovers, thanks to having so much seating room.”
Much-loved BBC Radio Lincolnshire presenters Scott Dalton and Carla Green will also be returning as “Masters of Ceremony” for the show.
Plans for our week-long LFW, which will have a Victorian twist, are already causing a stir – with sponsors and would-be models rushing to sign-up to be part of it and there’s lots more going on behind the scenes.
It’s great that we already have St Mark’s Retail Park and The Waterside Shopping Centre on board as our headline sponsors, but we warmly invite more retailers, hairdressers, beauticians and other businesses to add their name to this week-long extravaganza.

LFW provides a fabulous opportunity for aspiring models – and everyone from children to senior citizens (men and women) who may have always secretly fancied getting dressed-up and taking to the catwalk – to fulfil a dream!

“We are also thrilled to have signed-up our charity partners for this year’s show. Macmillan Cancer Support will directly benefit by being presented with part of the money raised through the grand finale ticket sales.”
