Upcoming STEM Women events in London and Birmingham are targeted at STEM students and graduates

The community events are hosted across the UK, with events planned to take place in London on 20th February 2019 and Birmingham on 6th March 2019, respectively.

STEM Women Community Events attract current university students and recent graduates from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines. The attendees hear inspirational speakers and then meet with graduate employers during networking sessions.

The events are free for students to attend and there are various exhibitor packages available for employers. Bookings are now been taking for companies who would like to exhibit.

STEM Women received fantastic feedback following their 2018 events. Alastair Marshall (Senior Talent Coordinator) Sparta Global said, “STEM Women has been a fantastic partner of ours. In the last 18 months we have attended 3 events and have hired candidates from every one. The events are always well run, feature amazing locations and have hundreds of interested candidates. We look forward to engaging with STEM Women for a long time to come.”

The London event is taking place on Wednesday 20th February at The Congress Centre, London. Whilst the Birmingham event will be held at The Birmingham IET: Austin Court on Wednesday 6th March.

117 companies exhibited at a STEM Women event in 2018 and they were attended by over 1,450 students. Past attendees have included Network Rail, American Express, Facebook, EY, Just Eat, Virgin Atlantic and Nuclear Graduates.

STEM Women is owned and managed by the founders of STEM Graduates. The latter operates as a specialist recruitment agency. STEM Women introduces potential employers to members of their female-focused STEM community via a job board and through their careers events.
