Female founder of Nottingham HR consultancy takes top award

The founder of a Nottingham-based outsourced HR consultancy, My HR Hub, which delivers bespoke solutions for small businesses, has taken a top award for women in business.

Managing director of My HR Hub, Rebecca Bull, was crowned Sole Trader of the Year in the Nottingham Post’s Women in Business Awards just two years after launching her consultancy business.

A Chartered Fellow CIPD professional, Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and set up My HR Hub to deliver cost-effective, bespoke HR and business improvement services that are tailored to the operational needs of small businesses.

Rebecca received the prestigious award, which is for Nottinghamshire women who are self-employed and run their own business, at a ceremony at Nottingham’s Crowne Plaza Hotel last week (15th November 2018).

Now in their sixth year, the Nottingham Post Women in Business Awards recognise some of the very best and brightest women blazing a trail in a range of different sectors across the business world.

Commenting on winning the award, Rebecca, who lives in Nottingham, said:

“My passion in helping businesses become the best they can be and providing a great working environment for their employees is what drives me every day.

“I am so delighted that my commitment to business has been recognised by winning this award in my hometown.

“I would like to thank my wonderful family, friends, business partners, clients and category sponsor Solid State UK, for encouraging and supporting me and believing in what I do and the positive difference it makes to companies in both the East Midlands business scene and around the UK.

“I am over the moon and winning this award is a great platform for the next stage of My HR Hub, with an exciting new venture launching in early 2019.”
