Tecserv UK appointed by Siemens

Fire, security alarm and CCTV specialists, Tecserv UK has announced that it has been appointed as an approved partner and is now an official distributor of fire alarm systems manufactured by Siemens.

Tecserv UK already holds distributor agreements with most of the leading manufacturers of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and access control equipment. Becoming an approved Siemens partner has enabled the company to add another leading brand to our product portfolio.

This means Tecserv UK is now approved to install and maintain Siemens fire alarm systems as well as, and not instead of those from other manufacturers. We are therefore more able to meet customer and specification requirements. Tecserv UK will also be able to take advantage of other opportunities that fit with the Siemens strategy as well as the potential to work with other Siemens divisions.

Commenting on behalf of Siemens, Rob Yates, Head of Fire for Siemens UK, said,

“Approved Siemens partners hold a current quality standard such as BAFE and are authorised to design, supply, install, commission and maintain our full product portfolio. They also receive ongoing training to ensure they remain up to date with new product developments and technological advancements in our systems.”

Graham Tilley, Tecserv UK CEO added,

“We are delighted to be able to offer our customers yet another option when it comes to choosing their fire and security alarm systems. A number of existing customers, such as Roehampton University already have Siemens systems and achieving approved partner status will ensure we are able to expand our services and meet future demand.”

Tecserv UK is based in Underwood on the Notts & Derby border and employs 50 people. The company works for a wide range of SME businesses, leading retailers such as M&S Simply Food and Harvey Nichols, hotel brands such as The Ritz and The Bulgari hotel in London.
