Halloween family fun at intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh

There’s set to be a host of spooky goings on at intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh this Halloween, with plenty of treats in store for the whole family.

On Wednesday 31 October, both centres will join all of intu’s 14 shopping destinations in the UK to host the Big Trick or Treat event. Between 9am and 530pm, little shoppers can grab an orange bucket and collect sweet treats from any stores displaying a pumpkin sticker in the window.

To ensure shoppers look the part, there will also be fiendish face painting stations at both centres and creepy colouring areas for little monsters to create some devilish doodles.

In addition, from 9am until 530pm, shoppers at intu Victoria Centre have the chance to get their picture taken with a full-sized replica Ghostbusters car (outside John Lewis & Partners and Boots) and get some ghoul battling tips from the Ghostbusters themselves.

The team at fancy dress store, Luvyababes, will also be joining in with the Halloween fun at intu Victoria Centre by transforming the mall’s caged fashion mannequins with a range of spooky costumes.

“We’re ready to have some Halloween fun,” said Nigel Wheatley, general manager of intu in Nottingham.

“The Big Trick or Treat was a great success last year and the treats from our retailers lead to smiles on lots of scary faces! A lot of parents told us they loved the experience and the fact that we’re offering a safe and weather-proof way for them to take their children trick or treating, whilst getting their shopping at the same time.

“Grab your hat, get on your broomstick and come and visit us for a haunting Halloween day out!”

The Halloween activities all form part of intu’s Family Club, which is free to join and provides exclusive offers and discounts, a free joining gift and a magazine.
