624,000 balls bounced as Roxy Ball Room celebrates first birthday

Hundreds of Nottingham locals gathered last night (25 October) to celebrate the first anniversary of the games focussed venue, Roxy Ball Room.

Raising a toast to a successful first year in Nottingham, Roxy Ball Room threw the ultimate birthday party to say thank you to its loyal customers. Unlimited table tennis, pool and beer pong were on the menu, washed down with free food and drinks.

Danny Stoneman, manager at Roxy Ball Room Nottingham, said:

“We’ve had an incredible year and our customers are some of the best in Nottingham so it was fantastic to celebrate with a big birthday party.

“I think part of the reason we’ve been so successful is that whether you’re coming for a quick game of ping-pong after work, or hiring a games table for an all-night party, there’s something for everyone.”

Located on Thurland Street, Roxy Ball Room is enjoyed by a diverse mix of customers from groups of colleagues enjoying after work drinks to young party-goers who revel in late night gaming.

In the past year, the bar has seen around 624,000 balls bounced and 41,600 drinks downed during games of beer pong.

Joel Mitchell, brand development manager, added:

“Roxy Ball Room was founded in a rebellious spirit, going against the norms of what was around us, and I think Nottingham has that same outlook.

“The city was therefore a fantastic choice for our sixth venue as the locals have really embraced Roxy Ball Room and made it the go to bar for a fun, different night out. Here’s to many more anniversaries and birthday parties!”
