Local law firm builds commercial property team by three

Fraser Brown Solicitors has expanded its Nottingham-based commercial property team by three, with the appointment of Kerry Elliott as a senior associate, Zaheera Suleman as a solicitor and Alicia Yilmaz as a paralegal. 

Kerry Elliot, who has 17 years of experience in the industry joins Fraser Brown from Rothera Sharp.

In her new role, Kerry will be responsible for assisting and supervising the wider commercial property team working with a number of high-profile clients and undertaking all aspects of client care.

Kerry said:

“Fraser Brown is a highly respected and well-established law firm in the region and I’m looking forward to working on its wide variety of commercial property work. Having previously worked on a number of transactions dealing with the department at Fraser Brown, I knew it would be the perfect fit for me.”  

Zaheera Suleman, who studied Law at De Montford University in Leicester, will be responsible for leases and the acquisition and disposal of all types of commercial properties.

Zaheera said:

“Having worked in the residential and commercial property sector for many years, I noticed time and time again that Fraser Brown stood out as leaders in the industry. Joining this expanding law firm was an easy decision for me and I’m excited by the prospect of progressing my career with the firm.”

Alicia Yilmaz will undertake her Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis at Nottingham Law School whilst working at Fraser Brown.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire is home to three of Fraser Brown’s offices, where the firm was established over 250 years ago. Earlier this year the firm opened a branch in Lincoln, strengthening its East Midlands presence.
