John Brichnell joins Data Clarity

In the aftermath of winning a national award, global software and data solutions provider, Data Clarity has appointed John Bricknell as its new sales consultant.

The appointment is part of an ongoing strategy to expand the company’s presence in the retail sector and to strengthen its reputation as a mobile App development specialist.

John Bricknell joins the Derby based company having spent the last 20 years working as a sales manager for telecoms businesses managing teams of in-bound and outbound sales agents.

Data Clarity, which counts leading fashion retailers such as Paul Smith as a client, recently released an award-winning software solution called Clarity Omnivue which enables retailers to combine data from a myriad of disparate sources into one highly detailed view of its customers. The company also has a niche specialism for developing Apps for leisure, theme and caravan park operators. These bespoke Apps are linked to GPS and incorporate interactive mapping to guide visitors around the park as well as issue ‘push’ notifications to help generate additional revenue.

Part of John’s role will also be to target companies that are still using paper-based methods to process timesheets and expense claims in order to help convert them to software based on-line solutions such as Clarity 365.

Kevin Carrick, Data Clarity CEO said,

“Having spent a great deal of time perfecting our software solutions we are now at a crucial stage in our business. John will play an important role in helping us reach our target markets and the right decision makers to help ensure they understand how we can help transform their business and build customer loyalty by harnessing the data and insights they are gathering about their customers’ buying behaviour and preferences.”

Commenting on his new appointment, John Added, “When I met Kevin I could instantly see he is a very hands on CEO and I liked the passion I saw within the business. The use of technology is advancing rapidly, and I am really looking forward to helping Data Clarity capitalise on the demand from retailers for an uncomplicated solution to omni-channel retailing. Customers have a wide range of options as to how, when and where to buy, such as instore, on-line or via a mobile. Marrying data records from all these various sources has become one of major headaches for retailers and my aim is to ensure they know our solutions can quickly and easily resolve their problem.”

John lives in Derby and is married with one son. In his spare time, John enjoys cycling, playing pool and snooker and spending time with his family.
