Movements UK celebrates 34th trading year

A Shepshed-based chauffeur business which specialises in airport transfers has celebrated its thirty fourth trading year this month.

Established in 1984 by Bill Cregeen, Movements UK opened in it’s first premises at Barrow Upon Soar with just one MkIV Cortina car. Now the successful business operates a fleet of sixteen cars and twenty chauffeurs. Due to continued business growth, the company is currently recruiting for five new chauffeurs to join the team.

“Movements UK have enjoyed steady and continued growth throughout its 34-year history with a constant focus on maintaining and improving service delivery standards. Our first priority is to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations and our reputation stands and falls on our last performance” said business owner Bill Cregeen. “From the beginning there has always been family feel within the business and this has resulted in low staff turnover over the years and an excellent team environment. Many of our chauffeur team have been employed for in excess of 10 years. We believe that the successes we are enjoying now are a result of staff engagement, job security and flexible working arrangements. 34 years is a very special anniversary and we are very proud of what we as a team have achieved in that time,”
