intu Derby and Marketing Derby announce exclusive VIP evening

intu Derby has announced its exclusive VIP shopping night will return to the centre this Autumn, in association with Marketing Derby.

Aimed at employees of local businesses, including those who work for one of the 350 Marketing Derby bondholders in the county, it promises to be an event not to be missed. Taking place on Thursday 4 October from 5pm until late, guests will enjoy an evening of unmissable offers from some of the centre’s biggest brands, demonstrations, menu sampling and free parking.

A variety of exclusive discounts and deals on this season’s hottest fashion trends will be available from the likes of All Saints, Office, Monsoon, Trespass and many more.

There will also be free demonstrations and expert advice from some of intu Derby’s popular beauty retailers, including MAC, Boots and Lush.

A string quartet will entertain guests as they browse the unmissable offers, while many of the centre’s eateries, including Wagamama and Byron, will serve up mouth-watering menu samples and offer discounts for those working up an appetite in the shops.

A limited number of places are available, and customers are advised to book their space in advance to avoid disappointment via

Adam Tamsett, general manager at intu Derby, said:

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests to our exclusive VIP shopping night in October. With several exciting new store openings having taken place this year, it will be a fantastic opportunity to check out this season’s hottest trends and snap up a brilliant bargain or two, as well as enjoy a whole host of live demonstrations and tasty treats throughout the evening.

“As spaces are limited, be sure to book your ticket well in advance to ensure you don’t miss what promises to be another amazing event,” he added.

Lindsey Hatfield, Commercial Development Manager at Marketing Derby said,

“This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate reaching the milestone of 350 Bondholders.  We estimate that there are around 43,000 people in Derby and Derbyshire who work for bondholder companies and this is a great chance for them to come along for some great savings.

“Marketing Derby could not continue to attract investment into the city without the support of our bondholders and we hope that they all have a fabulous evening of shopping and entertainment.”

intu Derby’s VIP shopping night will take place from 5pm until late on Thursday 4 October.
