The Derby Conference Centre first announced six 1920s nights in May and the parties quickly generated a lot of interest on social media, resulting in the six initial dates being completely sold-out!
To ensure that nobody misses out on the popular events, and as a result of this incredibly high demand, the Centre has now announced that two further dates will be held on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st December; the perfect time for guests to truly get into the festive spirit.
Guests will be encouraged to party in 1920’s fancy dress, though this is optional, with a prize awarded for the best dressed. The evenings will also feature a drinks reception, festive three-course meal, and music from The Derby Conference Centre’s resident DJ.
Matthew Hutchings, The Derby Conference Centre’s Managing Director, said,
“It’s been amazing to see how popular the parties have been with the local community and we didn’t want anyone to miss out on the chance to be a part of them, which is why we decided to add two more dates in the run-up to Christmas Day. We host all kinds of events here at The Derby Conference Centre and so many requests for Christmas parties kept coming in to the team, so we felt that it was only right to give the people of Derby a place where they can celebrate Christmas in style.”
Situated within a unique, Grade II listed building steeped in local history, and a short journey from Derby train station and major motorways, The Derby Conference Centre is ideally placed for groups from the region to celebrate their Christmas party. Guests can relax in style after the party, in one of the Centre’s 50 4* AA-rated en-suite, modern bedrooms.
Tickets for The Derby Conference Centre’s 1920s themed Christmas parties can be booked from the Centre directly by calling 01332 861842 and selecting Option 2. Tickets cost just £31 per person with a £10pp deposit required.
