Commercial property lawyer Julie joins Fraser Brown’s Lincoln office

East Midlands firm Fraser Brown Solicitors has expanded its commercial property team with the appointment of solicitor Julie Hutchinson.

With 12 years of legal experience, Julie joins the firm’s Lincoln office on Kingsley Office Park, which opened in June this year.

Prior to joining Fraser Brown, Julie worked for a global law firm, before joining Andrew & Co Solicitors in 2012 as a paralegal in the commercial property department.

In her new position, Julie will be responsible for commercial property transactions such as leases, licences and sales and acquisitions, as part of the 14-strong commercial property team.

Julie said:

“Fraser Brown is a major player in the East Midlands and I’m pleased to be joining such a well-established firm. Its commercial property team has vast expertise of working with businesses large and small and I’m looking forward to helping it clients achieve their goals and aspirations.

“The world of commercial property law is fast-paced and complex and it’s my job to work with clients to make the process as smooth and as easy as possible. I’m proud to be joining the new Lincoln office and to be working in this thriving city.”

Julie, who lives near Newark, has a joint honours degree in History and Politics from the University of Leicester, a Graduate Diploma in Law from De Montfort Law School and studied in the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.

Anthony Ogley, head of the commercial property team, which has representatives across Nottingham and Lincoln, said:

“As a team we are all experienced, approachable and passionate about the industry and we look for likeminded people to join us. Julie stood out for her wealth of knowledge of the sector and proactive approach.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with her and wish her the best of luck in her new role here.”

Nottingham is home to three of Fraser Brown’s offices, where the firm was first established over 250 years ago, which recently became four with the addition of the Lincoln branch.

The company is currently experiencing considerable growth in staff numbers and is continuously expanding its services that already serve a local and national client-base. Fraser Brown delivers all aspects of commercial and private client services.
