New law firm on the block expands its Lincoln conveyancing team

Fraser Brown Solicitors, which opened its Lincoln office on Kingsley Office Park in June, has expanded its conveyancing team in the city by three.

Anna Fussey, who has more than eight years of experience in the residential property sector, joins Fraser Brown as a residential conveyancing solicitor.

In her new role, Anna will be responsible for assisting Lincolnshire-based clients with the sale and purchases of properties and land, transfers of equity, new build developments, re-mortgages, tenancy agreements and other aspects of residential conveyancing.

She said:

“When the opportunity arose to join Fraser Brown’s well-established conveyancing team I knew it was a great opportunity for me. After meeting with the existing Nottingham-based conveyancing team and hearing their enthusiasm about their expansion into Lincoln, I was excited by the prospect of helping the team achieve their growth plans.”

The Fraser Brown conveyancing team, which was recently shortlisted for the Regional Conveyancing Firm of the Year Award at the prestigious LFS Conveyancing Awards, is optimistic about their role in Lincoln and what they can bring to the new branch.

Anna continued:

“The conveyancing team is highly-skilled and Lincoln is the ideal place for its further growth. I look forward to working with the team, our fantastic clients and seeing the Lincoln offer go from strength to strength.”

Lincoln-based Georgie Lloyd, joins the firm from Andrew & Co Solicitors as a legal assistant with more than five years of experience. Georgie will be responsible for providing administrative support to staff within the Lincoln office, arranging client appointments, assisting file handlers and dealing with agents.

She said:

“I’m really enjoying my new position with Fraser Brown and I’m glad to be working in its new office, which offers a refreshing, open plan environment to work in. The team have already been very welcoming here and I’m looking forward to seeing my career progress and flourish at Fraser Brown.”

Conveyancing assistant Kaine Anderson-Price, who has worked with Fraser Brown for three years at its Nottingham office, will be moving across to the new Lincoln office to manage b2b relations in the region and to develop meaningful relationships with existing and new contacts.

He commented:

“Choosing to move to Fraser Brown’s Lincoln office was the perfect decision for me as it will allow me to gain valuable knowledge of the industry within a new region and to see the company grow first-hand. I’m also very pleased to be working with Anna and Georgie in the conveyancing team, who both bring excellent knowledge of this stunning area and the industry with them.”

Wendy Hooley, partner in the conveyancing team at Fraser Brown, said:

“Following the successful opening of our Lincoln office earlier this year, we are now proud to be expanding our conveyancing team in the city. Anna and Georgie bring with them a wealth of experience and will be an asset to the team, we’re excited to have them on board.

“Kaine is a very valuable member of the Fraser Brown team and we’re looking forwarding to having his input in Lincoln. I’d like to wish him, Anna and Georgie the best of luck at our new office.”

The Fraser Brown conveyancing team, which is the largest of its kind in the East Midlands, is made up of 33 professionals situated across the firm’s four offices across Nottinghamshire and Lincoln.
