Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Nottingham start-up shortlisted for regional award

Nottingham-based outsourced HR consultancy for small businesses, My HR Hub, has been shortlisted in the Midlands Forward Ladies Awards 2018 in the Start Up of the Year category.

Now in its ninth year, The Forward Ladies National Awards & Summit recognises and showcases the achievements of business women in the UK across a range of industry sectors.

The Midlands shortlist was announced on 17 July with managing director of My HR Hub, Rebecca Bull, being the only owner of a Nottingham-based company to make the Start Up of the Year shortlist. The Start Up of the Year award celebrates women who have started a new business that is within its first five years of trading.

Shortlisted Midlands applicants in all categories are invited to an exclusive awards lunch on at the Hyatt Regency, Birmingham where they will compete across 11 categories, including business, not for profit and technology. The Midlands winners and finalists of the other regional awards will then be invited to appear before a live panel of independent judges in November, followed by the National Grand Final at New Dock Hall, Leeds.

Rebecca Bull said:

“I am delighted to be shortlisted for this exciting award and feel privileged to be representing Nottingham in the regional finals.

“Since launching My HR Hub two years ago, I have helped a diverse range of companies to build their employer brand and become better, fairer and greater places to work and I am proud that my client base has grown from three to 25 clients in this time.

“The work Forward Ladies are doing to promote the pipeline of female talent in the UK is incredibly important and reflects my passion for helping and inspiring other small businesses, many of which are led by women.”
