Mocha Marketing Managing Director Gemma Orton nominated for prestigious award

The Managing Director of Leicestershire marketing agency Mocha Marketing, Gemma Orton, has been nominated for Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year at this year’s East Midlands Women’s Awards.
The Awards aim to celebrate the hard work, success and contribution women from all cultures and communities across the East Midlands have made, and raise the profile of the region’s successful women.
Gemma first established Mocha Marketing in 2014 and since then, the agency has gone from strength to strength. Gemma works alongside a team of dedicated marketing professionals, who have won awards themselves, and the agency’s recent growth and success has been a key factor in Gemma’s nomination at the East Midlands Women’s Awards.
Gemma explains, “I’m delighted and honoured to be nominated for such a prestigious award. It’s been such a fantastic experience seeing how much the Mocha team has grown over the years, and how the business has flourished as a result. Being part of such a dedicated team makes me so proud and I truly believe that there’s more success to come from us in the future.”
The East Midlands Women’s Awards will take place in Leicester on Friday 18th September. The city was recently named as a Centenary City to mark 100 years since women were given the right to vote in the UK, and the Awards seek to recognise and celebrate the hard work and success that women have made in business.
As well as being nominated for Outstanding Female Entrepreneur at the East Midlands Women’s Awards, Gemma’s has also received various other awards for her hard work in taking Mocha Marketing to the level it is at now. Mocha Marketing was also named as the Midlands Start-up Business of the Year 2016 in the Forward Ladies awards of that year.
Gemma also recently established a new company, Xcluu, which is an affordable and professional marketing solution designed to support small businesses across the UK.
