New hire to spark growth at Greenio

RENEWABLE energy company Greenio – which has offices in Lincolnshire – is on track to meet its ambitious growth targets following the appointment of a new sales and marketing manager.

Perdy Humfrey - a graduate from The Royal Agricultural University - achieved a degree in international agri-business management and was recruited by Greenio for her passionate stance on green energy. Since graduating in 2016, Perdy has worked in sales with focus on insurance in the farming industry. Her role at Greenio involves securing new clients and promoting the business’ unique offering of renewable energy services.

Speaking of her new role Perdy said:

“I really believe in the importance of renewable energy for the future of agriculture, so when the opportunity arose to work at Greenio, I knew it was an ideal fit. It’s up to companies such as Greenio to reach out to farmers and advise them on the options available to support and grow their business.

“My favourite part of this new role is the opportunity to make a real difference to the region’s businesses by being part of Greenio’s work to combat rising energy bills through improved sustainability.”

Greenio, which was set up in 2013 and is based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, works to deliver cost-saving heating and electrical solutions to a number of sectors including education, dairy and farming, engineering, motoring and the NHS.

The business works with clients to consult, manage and install green energy equipment. It also helps any organisation struggling to secure funding to be more sustainable and save integral funds by lowering their energy bills.

Anna Wooster, managing director of Greenio, said:

“We are rapidly growing and developing our business to reach new market sectors and deliver an ever wider range of energy saving solutions, often finding cash neutral strategies for our client base. To support this, I needed to find someone who would promote Greenio nationally and help our clients to understand who we are, what we do, and how we can help them become more sustainable and make vital savings through renewable energy solutions such as solar panels and biomass boilers.

“We are now turning over £1m, we have over £1m worth of work in the pipeline, and we have ambitions to continue growing at a fast pace; investing in the team to meet this workload is therefore essential and Perdy is an integral part of our future plans.”

Greenio works to support its clients with a number of energy solutions including: LED lighting, solar PV, biomass boilers, air source heat pumps, battery storage and EV car chargers. For further information visit www.greenio.co.uk
