Marketing agency shows support for LOROS flower appeal

The UK may be awash with colourful floral displays and flower beds but a Market Harborough based marketing agency has invested in a different kind of flower to support the latest charity initiative from Leicestershire charity LOROS.

As part of the charity’s Forget Me Not flower appeal, The Ideal Marketing Company purchased a commemorative wrought iron flower for all seven members of the team. Each flower symbolises the life of a loved one who is no longer with us.

The LOROS appeal attracted overwhelming support and the Ideal Marketing flowers were amongst hundreds displayed on Leicester’s Jubilee Square between Monday 2nd and Sunday 8th July. Following the display, the limited edition flowers were returned to the buyers for a lasting tribute to a loved one.

Helen Campbell, MD of The Ideal Marketing Company explains the reasoning behind the pledge:

“We are always proud to support the work of LOROS. This particular campaign struck the right chord with members of our team and we were happy to get behind the cause. LOROS is entirely funded by donations and it’s important that we contribute and fundraise so that they can continue the fantastic service that they offer.”

The Ideal Marketing Company is regular fundraiser for LOROS Hospice. Over the years, the company has raised thousands of pounds through events, fundraisers and seminars. Last year, the marketing agency raised over £1,300 by cycling over 350 miles in two days on a static bike in the office.

LOROS Hospice is a charity that provides free, high-quality care and support to over 2,500 terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers every year across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The limited edition wrought iron flowers are available to purchase from the LOROS website until August 31st and cost £25 each.

The Ideal Marketing Company ( works with businesses of all sizes in a range of sectors to improve their marketing, PR and social media strategies as well as designing websites.
