FOOTBALL LEAGUE HAT-TRICK FOR SILVER BIRCH CREATIVE

FOOTBALL LEAGUE HAT-TRICK FOR SILVER BIRCH CREATIVE

Derby design and branding agency, Silver Birch Creative, has recently completed its third successful kit launch for Rotherham United.

Rotherham, recently promoted back to the Championship after winning the League One Play-Offs in May, once again appointed Silver Birch to handle the creative and design for the project as it launched home, away and alternate away shirts.

Steve Coakley, Commercial Director for Rotherham United, said,

“For the release of our 2018/2019 Sky Bet Championship season kit design, we wanted to ensure the maximum positive impact possible among our fans – something we knew Silver Birch Creative would deliver.
"We asked Karl and his team to deliver punchy graphics, photography and digital assets, connected by a central theme which complimented our existing brand guidelines. This has already contributed significantly to extremely encouragingsales of the home kit which was available for sale for the first time on Friday 1 June.”

Managing director and lead designer of Silver Birch Creative, Karl Shaw, adds:

"We were delighted to once again be invited back by the club to manage the campaign. Creatively, we understand what a kit's colours mean to a club, the game, and most of all, the fans; they aren’t just wearing football shirts, they are pledging allegiance and support to their boys, come what may.
"Getting all of this right and delivering creative on-time and on-budget that hits the mark is an exciting challenge, and one we relish".

Silver Birch Creative also handled its second successive kit launch release for Luton Town's 18/19 kits, another Football League club recently promoted this season. The agency partnered with Averill Photography on both projects.

Karl added:
"Teamwork is as important in the creative industry as it is in football, so Averill Photography were our one and only choice to bring onto the project. Working closely for a number of clients, we know how to get the best out of each other."
