Charity Cycle Ride for Rainbows

We are cycling from Coalville clock tower to Skegness for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People to raise money for Rainbows Childrens Trust.

Preston Henney was a local boy from Whitwick, who loved football and was a keen Leicester City supporter.  He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in January 2013, a rare form of childhood cancer of the nerve cells, and tragically died on 22nd April last year aged only 9 yrs.  He and his family were being supported by Rainbows Hospice.   Last year, friends of the family decided to raise funds for the charity, by cycling from Preston’s much loved Leicester City FC ground to Preston FC via 5 other football grounds.  This year in memory of Preston a team of 15 cyclists will be leaving Coalville clock tower on the 30th June 2018 and arriving at Skegness clock tower, 100 miles the same day.
