Roythornes boosts team with double hire

LEADING law firm Roythornes Solicitors has continued its expansion plans following two new appointments in the property and debt recovery teams.

Catherine Rickett joins from Taylor Rose TTKW and will be heading up the debt recovery team from the Spalding head office and Rosalyn Thompson has joined the firm as a solicitor within the property development team in Nottingham.

Roythornes has strategically located offices across the Midlands and East Anglia. Its recent growth has seen employment figures flourish to more than 190 members of staff, and its status in the legal sector strengthen across the region.

Catherine said:

“Roythornes has a fantastic reputation so I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and getting to know the team.

“I have been working in the legal sector for more than 11 years but in 2015 I qualified as a chartered legal executive from CILEx Law School and have been working in debt recovery and enforcement of judgments ever since. I’m therefore very excited to step up into the role of debt recovery manager, and the next phase of my career, at Roythornes.”

Rosalyn, who qualified as a solicitor from Nottingham Law School in 2013, said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Roythornes’ commercial property team as it’s an incredibly strong sector of the business. My strengths are in site acquisition and development so I’m really looking forward to working on top quality cases with well recognised local clients.

“Roythornes is a well sized, firm with big ambitions so being part of the successful property team will be a fantastic challenge.”

Speaking about the new recruits, Roythornes managing director Vember Mortlock said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Catherine and Rosalyn to Roythornes. This is a time of real growth for us in the region and they will help us to achieve our ambitious growth plans.”

Roythornes is a top 150 law firm with particular expertise in the land, agriculture, food and property sectors. Earlier this year it was listed in the London Stock Exchange’s ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’.
