Senior promotion at CPW Nottingham office

NATIONAL M&E consultancy Couch Perry Wilkes (CPW) has announced the promotion of long-standing team member Nilesh Mistry to director.

Nilesh originally joined CPW in Birmingham after graduating from University of Loughborough, then CPW’s Nottingham team in 2005 as a principal electrical design engineer. He has ably worked his way through the ranks, progressing to associate in 2008, associate director in 2013 then latterly to director earlier this month.

During his career at CPW, Nilesh has worked on a number of high-profile projects, both within Nottingham and across the Midlands, including the newly-opened Lincoln Transport Hub and Project Greengrass - British Sugar’s state-of-the-art office space in Peterborough - which is due for completion later this year.

Speaking of his promotion, Nilesh said:

“It goes without saying that I’m very pleased to be stepping into this new role. I have a huge amount of respect for the senior team at CPW and I look forward to being involved in the company’s further progression and growth.

“Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on numerous outstanding projects and, most importantly, within a team of incredibly professional individuals. The team in Nottingham, both past and present, is a great mix of young talent and experienced engineers and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

Ash Cowdrey, director at CPW, said:

“Since Nilesh joined the Nottingham office he has been a major pillar of the structure upon which we’ve built our amazing team. His work in leading the team in Nottingham, as well as providing a point of technical expertise for the entire company, has been paramount to our recent progression.

“We recognise the importance of rewarding our staff, especially those who have been with us for several years and his promotion has been fully welcomed both within our team internally and our external network of industry peers. I have no doubt that he will remain a valuable asset to our Nottingham office, continuing with our delivery of award-winning projects across the region.”

CPW is a national M&E consultancy with more than 200 staff based across its ten regional offices nationwide. The firm specialises in designing and integrating the full range of energy solutions into existing and new buildings by using innovative and contemporary engineering techniques.
