Boxing clever - commercial agent celebrates a year in business

Commercial property agent Box Property is celebrating reaching its first year in business and announces expansion plans.
West Bridgford-based Box Property has become the go-to agency for a number of major landlords and brands both regionally and nationally and is already looking to grow its team over the course of the next 6-12 months.
Set up by experienced agents Ben Tebbutt and Frankie Labbate in 2017, Box Property has worked with an impressive portfolio of local and national brands, including the Nottingham success story 200 Degrees, The Botanist, Bar Iberico, Clean Cut, West Cornwall Pasty Company, Universal Works, LNT Care Developments, Cow Vintage, Bunk Cocktails and Wings and Central England Cooperative.
Ben said: “The last 12 months have been a whirlwind and I can’t believe that we are already celebrating a year of being in business - it’s fantastic.
“From the outset we have been well received in the market and myself and the team have worked incredibly hard to offer our clients something a little bit different to the traditional agent offer and it’s serving us well. We continue to make client service our top priority and I believe that’s what has led to our continued organic growth.
“Retail and leisure is the heart of what we do; acquiring interesting venues for clients, actively working with and promoting local independents, buying and selling investment properties as well as acting on lease renewals, rent reviews and lease restructures. We have worked hard to create an offer that suits the needs of the range of clients that we work with.

The agent, which aims to provide a modern alternative to the commercial property market, is currently recruiting for an experienced surveyor as well as an office manager within the Box Property team.
Frankie added: “Our first letting was bringing the nationally recognised brand The Alchemist to Nottingham, which was a brilliant start. Since then we have worked with an array of brands across the country but our roots will always be in vibrant Nottingham.
“We measure our success not only on the deals we have worked on, but in creating a well-established business in only 12 months. We have been able to achieve this due to our extensive knowledge of the sector and the bespoke service that we provide that many larger commercial practices are unable to offer.
“After a successful year we are now looking ahead and are excited by the prospect of growing the business further and in turn our team, so that we can continue to deliver a first-class service for our clients.”
Box Property operates on a national basis and has acquired properties for its clients in Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, London, Cardiff, Leeds and Aylesbury.
