Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Derbyshire based Wildgoose Construction has won three contracts worth a total of £16m including a £10m care home.

The other contracts include a £3m industrial unit in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, and two pubs for brewer Marston’s in Runcorn and Bradford, as part of contracts worth a total of £3m.

Work is due to start next month on the Carpender Park Farm Care Home in Watford for developer Frontier Estates on behalf of Baycroft Care Homes. The build is scheduled to take 78 weeks to complete.

The care home will include a cinema room, a hair salon and a restaurant/café along with landscaping works outside.

The industrial unit in Wellington Road, Burton upon Trent, is being built for Ischebeck Titan, a specialist provider of safety, formwork and ground engineering solutions for the construction of concrete frame buildings, civil engineering and ground engineering projects. Work is due to start on site in June and be completed in 34 weeks.

Work has started on the Marston’s pub in Runcorn and is due to start on the Bradford pub in June. Both builds are scheduled to be completed in 23 and 24 weeks respectively. This brings the total number of pubs that Wildgoose has worked on for Marston’s to 35.

Jonathan Wildgoose, Executive Chairman of Wildgoose Construction, said he was thrilled with the recent contract wins.

He said:

“We are delighted to have won three high profile contracts including a £10m care home which reinforces our excellent reputation in the care sector.

“Our relationship with Marston’s has gone from strength to strength and this is borne out by the fact that the pubs in Runcorn and Bradford will bring the total number of Marston’s pubs we have built to 35.”

Wildgoose has a successful track record of building care home facilities with successful builds in recent years at Grimsby, Lichfield, Aldridge and Solihull.

The company is also currently building a 50-bed care home and 69 apartments for City of Bradford Metropolitan Council in Keighley.
