Leicestershire law firm announce promotion for “hardworking and talented” solicitor

A Leicestershire law firm which is celebrating 125 years of business has announced a promotion in its Market Harborough office.

Bray & Bray has promoted Wills, Trusts and Probate specialist Russell Dalby to the position of Associate Solicitor less than two years after joining the firm.

With a background in Banking and Compliance, Russell decided to retrain as a solicitor in 2010, qualifying in 2014. He joined Bray & Bray, who have offices in Hinckley and Leicester as well as Market Harborough, in 2016.

He explained:

“After working in finance for nearly 20 years, I decided it was time to change to the law which has interested me for a long time. Returning to full-time studying after so many years was a real challenge, but it was definitely the right move.

“I find the area of Wills, Trusts and Probate particularly interesting, and I get a great deal of job satisfaction from helping people to get their affairs in order and making sure that they look after their loved ones. I am delighted to be promoted to Associate.”

Andrew Hitchon, who is a Partner at Bray & Bray and heads up the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team, congratulated Russell on his success. Andrew said: “To be appointed as an Associate is a tremendous achievement which is testament to Russell’s hard work and talent. He is a real asset to our expanding team.”

The congratulations were echoed by Bray & Bray’s Senior Partner, Tim Gladdle, who added: “We are continuing to develop our expertise with an outstanding team, and I’d like to congratulate and thank Russell for his commitment and dedication.”

Bray & Bray, which was established in 1893, employs over 100 people across its four Leicestershire offices. The firm offers a full range of legal services.
