Porsche Centre Nottingham to Celebrate Sportscar Together Day: 70 Years of Porsche

Some things don’t change. The dream of a perfect sports car drove Ferry Porsche to create the very first Porsche on 08 June 1948, and that dream is alive and well today 70 years on.

On Saturday 09 June to celebrate the 70th birthday of Porsche, Porsche Centre Nottingham will be taking part in a Sportscar Together Day event at historic Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire.

An impressive parade of 350 Porsches will drive to Cholmondeley Castle and undertake a lap of the circuit, before positioning on the lawn to be displayed for visitors.

The event will also include a summer German market, offering artisan food and drinks, as well as a family entertainment area. In the afternoon, there will be a Porsche 70 Concours d'Elegance, featuring a curated collection of rare and individual Porsche models, which will parade around the race circuit within the castle grounds and will be judged by a panel of Porsche experts and special guests.
