A new survey has named making a cup of tea as the first thing people do when they move into their new proper-tea in Nottinghamshire.

The result comes ahead of National Tea Day on Saturday 21st April, where people across the country unite to drink their favourite brews, whether that be a classic English Breakfast or something more exotic.
30% of residents in Nottinghamshire voted for a good cuppa as their motivation for moving day and said it was always the go-to when there is a big day of unpacking and making a house a home ahead of them.
The question ‘after unpacking your essentials, what’s the first thing you would do when moving into a new home?’ revealed some other great answers from local residents, including opening a bottle of wine or champagne (9%) and setting up the TV (5%) as well.
