Purpose Media set to speak alongside Twitter at national social media event

A director of full-service marketing agency Purpose Media will share the stage with senior representatives from social media giant Twitter at a digital conference in London.

Katrina Starkie, who is the Marketing Director at the Derbyshire-based firm, will share her stories of what it’s like behind the scenes of a large agency and her experiences of helping clients to grow their presence online at the event, which has been organised by US-based social media management platform Sprout Social.

It takes place at Bounce Farringdon, in Holborn, on 17 April. Speakers on the day include Twitter UK’s Director of Planning David Wilding and Partner Manager Emily McCleave, along with Sprout’s Vice-President Andrew Caravella and directors Patrick Cuttica and Tara Robertson.

It is aimed at keeping digital marketers up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and how agencies play a role in shaping their clients’ behaviour online.

Katrina will be part of an agency panel which will discuss the strategies and services they deliver to their clients to help them build their brands and engage with audiences. She said:

“We’re really excited to be one of only three agencies invited to speak at this event. Sharing our stories and best practice with agencies from across the UK is a brilliant opportunity.

“It’s not often a number of agencies of our size will meet to talk candidly about our success and challenges, and we really appreciate the team at Sprout for organising the event.

“It’s great to be flying the flag for the East Midlands, demonstrating there’s a thriving creative and digital sector here and businesses don’t need to look to the capital to access this kind of expertise.”
