East Midlands housebuilder supports Leicestershire racing talent

A MiniGP racing youngster from Leicester already has his sights set on a podium finish as he secures sponsorship from Redrow Homes East Midlands.

Eddie O’Shea, a talented 11-year-old from Ibstock, Leicestershire, has been riding mini motorbikes since the age of just six, and as he takes on his biggest challenge yet – competing in the GP50 Class in the Cool FAB Racing Championship – Redrow Homes East Midlands has pledged its support by becoming his title sponsor.

Mary Timlin, Sales Director for Redrow Homes East Midlands, said:

“Here at Redrow we are serious about nurturing young talent, particularly within the housebuilding sector, and we also strongly believe in supporting young talent outside our discipline. It’s a pleasure to sponsor Eddie, his dedication to motor racing and ambition to become a professional racer is fantastic to see at such a young age.

“We are thrilled to be sponsoring Eddie as he takes up the challenge of racing with a larger bike this year – we wish him all the best for the year ahead and can’t wait to see him on many podium finishes this season.”

Eddie O’Shea said:

“I’d like to thank Redrow for supporting me this season and making it possible for me to continue doing what I love. This year is going to be a completely new challenge on a new bike, and I truly believe that with some grit and determination, and some help from my sponsors, we genuinely can make my dreams of becoming a professional motorbike racer come true.”

Redrow is currently building new homes across the East Midlands, with developments featuring three, four and five-bedroom homes. For more information on Redrow Homes East Midlands and to find your nearest development, visit: redrow.co.uk/locations/east-midlands.
