Barratt Developments Chief Executive gives seal of approval on new Northamptonshire development

Barratt Developments Chief Executive David Thomas has given his seal of approval on a new homes development in Thrapston following a VIP tour of the site.

The new community called The Nurseries, located on Market Road and being built by David Wilson Homes South Midlands, part of Barratt Developments plc, was chosen as an important location for the chief executive to visit.

Located in the historic market town of Thrapston, the development combines beautiful open spaces, along with all essential amenities and highly regarded schools within walking distance.

The Nurseries recently opened its onsite marketing suite, welcoming the first customers to the site to find out more about what the homes have to offer.

David Thomas, Chief Executive of Barratt Developments plc, said:

“It was great to visit our new development in Thrapston, The Nurseries, to see how construction is progressing and to visit the new marketing suite.

“With this being a special year for us as it is our 60th anniversary, it is great to see such high quality homes being built in a thriving community in  Northamptonshire and I’m really looking forward to seeing how The Nurseries develops in the years to come.”

Jackie Day, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said:

“As with every development we build, The Nurseries is set in a location that offers residents easy access to the town centre, as well as being in close proximity to great local amenities and commuter links.

“We would advise anyone who does want to secure their dream home here to visit our newly launched marketing suite and  find out more about what’s on offer from the sales team.”

Residents in Thrapston will be surrounded by small quaint villages and stunning countryside that’s still a perfect place for commuters, with access to rail links in Kettering and a number of routes to take via car.

Large towns such as Kettering, Corby and Huntingdon are close by for shopping while Thrapston offers all the essential amenities needed as well as pubs, bars and places to eat and explore.

The marketing suite is now open Monday 12.30pm to 5.30pm and Thursday to Sunday 10.00am to 5.30pm following the launch. The show homes are expected to open their doors in May.
