Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Rilmac Scaffolding are proud to have been involved in one of Wates Construction Group’s Community initiatives, the Ladywood Project at Marham in Norfolk.

The project which has created an outdoors experience facility, with nature walks and a shelter cum hide, will be of use to the residents and school children of the village of Marham.

Rilmac’s involvement was to provide, free of charge, access scaffolding to allow for work on the roof of the shelter.  They were one of six Wates subcontractors who worked on the project.  All those companies involved in the project have been immortalised in a plaque that is displayed in the shelter.

Laurence Dobkin, Construction Manager for Wates Construction Northern Counties said, “It only remains for me to thank all of you who have spent time, money and effort in providing a stellar facility for the occupants of Marham, schools and local groups who will greatly benefit from your efforts.”

“It is fantastic to be able to give something back to the communities where we work.” Said James Newton, Rilmac Scaffolding Operations Manager, “The Ladywood Project will be a useful resource for years to come and we are very pleased to have been involved.”
