Free guidance for young entrepreneurs applying for start-up loan from local charity

Budding local entrepreneurs hoping to access a start-up loan from a Leicester charity can seek free financial guidance from local accountants Newby Castleman.

The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity provides interest-free loans for entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 35 who live in Leicestershire and Rutland and are in need of investment to start or boost their local business.

 

Applicants for a business loan from the charity, which can be up to £20,000 and is completely interest-free for a nine-year period, must also demonstrate that their business can succeed, using a business plan. Newby Castleman Manager Samantha Faux can offer applicants free assistance in preparing such a plan.

 

Samantha, based at the company’s Head Office in Leicester said,

“Younger entrepreneurs, while eager to succeed and full of great new ideas, may not necessarily have the accountancy experience or technical knowledge required to put together a 100% sound business plan when applying for a loan of this nature.
