SDL shortlisted in this year's RESI Awards

SDL Group’s lettings agency, SDL Lettings, has been shortlisted for a second year in a row at prestigious national residential property awards.

The Nottinghamshire-based company which prides itself on revolutionising the private rental sector (PRS) is shortlisted for Letting Agency of the Year at the 2018 RESI Awards despite a record number of entries being submitted.

SDL Group’s director of PRS, Paul Staley said:

“Over the years we have really changed the face of PRS working with our clients to regenerate many areas in the UK which had previously been neglected.

“Our first specific Build to Rent properties were let back in February 2015 for Sigma Capital under the brand name DifRent . They were situated in Norris Green, a previously neglected area in Liverpool which as a result had attracted anti-social behaviour and crime. The regeneration not only changed the local landscape aesthetically, but also economically, as the vibrant, growing community attracted new shops and events.

“Sites such as Norris Green Village now offer a range of Build to Rent (BTR) properties which can accommodate families who otherwise would not be able to afford properties.

“We are proud of the work we do at SDL Lettings, especially during a time when many are unable to raise the capital needed to buy their own property, we help our clients rent their dream home."

Described as the key celebratory and networking event for the residential property industry, winners of the awards will be announced during a gala presentation dinner which will take place on Wednesday 16th May at Grosvenor House, London.
