Patrons back ProCon Leicestershire in 2018

A dozen businesses are supporting the work of the ProCon Leicestershire property and construction network as Patrons for 2018.

There are three new Patrons for 2018: contractor Premier Development Contractors; waste and recycling company Bakers Waste; and insurance brokers Berkeley Insurance Group.

Continuing their support are: legal business Allardice Associates; Harborough-based Corporate Architecture; contractor Danaher & Walsh; consulting engineers Diamond Wood and Shaw; the law firm Howes Percival; professional services provider MDA Consulting; approved inspectors Salus; manufacturer Unique Window Systems; and contractor Willmott Dixon.

The backing of the businesses, including many based in Leicestershire, enables the 18-year-old organisation to put on its series of events throughout the year for its 500-plus members. Attendance at ProCon events can form part of professionals’ CPD (Continuing Professional Development).

The first event of 2018 focused on The Strategic Growth Plan for Leicester and Leicestershire. Held at Leicester’s City Hall, the event updated ProCon members on the Plan that will set out an agreed strategy on new housing, the economy, essential infrastructure and protecting the environment to 2050.

The Patrons’ support also helps sustain ProCon’s website which provides a platform for individual members and firms to connect with each other and to share news and views.
