Local Businessman Buys Leicester Business Expo

Local businessman Karl Craig-West has jumped at the chance to take up the running of Leicester Business Expo from previous owner and founder Elaine Vandlli. 

Elaine, who has run the Leicester Business Expo for the past 11 years, decided that the time was right to move on to new things and pass the baton onto Karl.

Commenting on the acquisition Karl Craig-West, Managing Director of Buzz Webs said,

“I’ve been involved in the Leicester Business Expo for many years and have worked closely with Elaine running the event on the day.  When I heard that Elaine was considering moving on I immediately expressed my interest in taking the Expo over.  I am thrilled that Elaine agreed to my proposal and the deal has now been completed.  We have already signed up dozens of exhibitors and have had interest expressed by many more.  2018 is going to be a very good year for the Leicester Business Expo!”

Elaine added,

“Karl has so much energy and passion for the Expo and has a wealth of experience and expertise to bring to the event.  He has already refreshed the brand and launched a new website for the event and is implementing a new and comprehensive marketing plan which will maximise publicity, increase visitor footfall and make LBE2018 a superb day for all involved.  I will be assisting Karl in the run up to the event in September and am really looking forward to seeing what he and his team do to take the Expo forward and make it even more successful.”

Leicester Business Expo will take place on the 27th September at the King Power Stadium.  A limited number of early bird exhibitor opportunities are available.
