TWO NEW APPRENTICES MAKES FIVE NEW STAFF IN 2018

Software and data services provider, Data Clarity has marked National Apprentice Week with an announcement that two new apprentices will be joining their software development team.

 

Kit Cook and Jordan Hall become the fifth new starters to join Data Clarity since the beginning of 2018, as the company continues its strategy to expand its national and global presence by strengthening its development team.

 

Also joining the company are Matt Brittain, Steve Ray, Phil Spencer.

 

Matt is a mobile app developer. He lives in Alvaston and has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Games Programming having studied at The University of Derby. He will be developing mobile applications on iOS, Android and Windows

 

Steve Ray is a senior developer and his role will be developing .Net based applications.

 

Phil spencer has a software engineering Hons Degree (2:1) and has worked in a variety of roles over his 24 year career. He has a wealth of IT/SQL Server experience and in his new role will be providing SQL support for DC product suite.

 

Jordan will be starting his first job since leaving full time education and, like Kit, will be a junior software developer and hoping to further his education by learning more about software development.

 

Both Kit and Jordan are from 3aaa's apprenticeships where they combine work placed learning with on-line course and day release at college.

 

Commenting on the expansion of the team, Data Clarity Co-Founder & Chief Data Development Officer, Pana Lepeniotis said, "Data challenges and opportunities are being presented to us on a daily basis so it is important we invest in strengthening and developing the next generation of software solutions. National Apprenticeship Week runs from 5 to 9th March. During the week employers and apprentices from across England will come together to celebrate the success of apprenticeships whilst encouraging even more people to choose apprenticeships as a pathway to a great career.

 

Founded in 2011, Data Clarity has expanded significantly by providing data solutions to over 150+ customers based across the globe. The company currently has recently learned that they have been shortlisted for a National Technology Award for their ClarityOmnivue product.

 

Having trebled their employees and doubled the company's turnover during the last 12 months Data Clarity relocated in August 2017 to new offices on Pride Park in Derby. Investment in science and technology has enabled the company to invest in new product development, expand the product portfolio (by 70%) and improve the speed and functionality of their existing products.
