Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

FAMILIES can look forward to a half term of ‘out of this world’ fun at intu Victoria Centre next week (19 – 23 Feb), as intu hosts a range of free intergalactic activities for local children.

intu is inviting aspiring astronauts and space explorers to its very own ‘Space School’ where they will be challenged with themed activities including: trying on a space suit, moon rock making, planet painting and filling in an astronaut checklist.

Nigel Wheatley, general manager for the two intu centres in Nottingham said: “Our free family-friendly half term activities are a brilliant way to help keep the kids amused during the school holidays – without spending a penny!

“We all know a little one who fancies themselves as a mini astronaut, and we think our ‘Space School’ is the perfect way to inspire and delight them. There are lots of great activities which will form part of the school, allowing children to learn a little bit more about outer space.

“Children enrolled in ‘Space School’ will go on an adventure through the centre, to hunt down special space clues, and once they’ve completed the activities they will be presented with their own astronaut certification!

“Also, don’t forget to take your mini space cadets around our in-centre walking trails and snap us a pic using #intuFitnessTrails for a chance to win a £50 intu Gift Card and get a little more active.”

The ‘Space School’ will run from Monday 19 to Friday 23 February and will take place on the lower mall outside of Boots. All space school activity will take place from 11am to 4pm daily.
