MIPIM, taking place from 12 to 16 March in Cannes, is the world’s largest annual event for the property and construction industry. More than 20 thousand property and development experts from 100 different countries will gather to hear about the latest innovations and developments - many of which are unveiled at the event, whilst networking with other industry professionals.

This year Roythornes is part of Team Nottinghamshire, Team Lincolnshire and the wider Midlands Engine. The two groups have very similar aims and plan to improve the economic growth of the city and the Midlands whilst bringing new opportunities to the region.

Attending MIPIM on behalf of the firm is newly appointed business development director Lisa Cawdron along with planning and development partners Jo Ladds and Shruti Trivedi.

Shruti said: “2017 was a great year for us as a team and it was certainly bolstered by a lot of business contacts we met at MIPIM. This year’s event is particularly exciting as we have Lisa joining us from Wilmott Dixon and her networking expertise will certainly be an advantage!

“Our region is currently enjoying a period of growth, both in terms of newly-built properties and regeneration of brown field sites. We expanded our planning team this time last year and we feel ready to show everything we have to offer at MIPIM.”

Jo added: “MIPIM is a great opportunity to not only liaise with investors and developers but also bring recognition to the area and its potential. Last year we forged some really valuable connections with other businesses and hope to do the same again in March this year.”

Roythornes is a top 150 national law firm with strategically located offices in Alconbury, Nottingham, Peterborough and Spalding. The company has a strong property and planning team with a growing national presence.
