DBS Managed Offices – two new members of staff & an exciting promotion!

In 2018 DBS Managed Offices have promoted Business Centre Co-ordinator, Laura Fitzpatrick, to Assistant Centre Manager!

Laura began with the company in 2016 having previously worked in retail, since then Laura has shown great aptitude for management and organisation, regularly going beyond the remit of her job role voluntarily to increase her knowledge base.

DBS aim to support and develop all their staff, so when Centre Manager Nicky Severs requested flexible working after her maternity leave, it gave DBS the opportunity to give Laura more responsibility – and she certainly rose to the challenge.

Although the core services at DBS are office space, virtual offices and meeting rooms – the addition of a serviced apartment in 2010 saw the business expand. Since then DBS have launched a further 5 apartments and introduced a brand new business centre in Ashby de la Zouch. With this growth came the opportunity to expand our staffing levels.

This January we welcomed Hayley Kerslake to the role of Business Centre Co-ordinator, and just last week we were joined by our new apprentice, Poppy Austin! Hayley is already showing a good head for business and fantastic customer service skills, and Poppy has shown incredible initiative and organisational skills.

As a business, post-brexit has been a very uncertain time, so we are thrilled to announce that amongst all this uncertainty we have continued to grow and add more talent to our staffing profile. Congratulations to Laura, Hayley & Poppy – we wish you all the best for the future!
