Jenny Colver joins Cummins Solicitors

Leicestershire leading employment law firm Cummins Solicitors has welcomed Jenny Colver as its new senior associate.

The arrival of the experienced lawyer makes the Cummins team 11-strong, with its five employment solicitors probably the largest specialist employment group in the county and one of the biggest in the region.

Jenny joins Cummins from Gateley, where she was an associate after training with the firm from 2008. Jenny previously studied at the University of Leicester and at Nottingham Law School.

Mike Cummins, who launched Cummins Solicitors as a specialist employment law firm in 2011, said: “I’ve known Jenny for a long time, since I was at Gateley, and she is a first class lawyer.

“We’ve secured some significant new clients in recent months and being able to strengthen our team with a solicitor of Jenny’s calibre and experience is a boost for us and for the quality and quantity of work we can deliver.”

Jenny provides practical, commercial advice in all areas of employment law including day to day HR assistance, negotiating and managing exits of senior employees and complex projects such as redundancy, reorganisation and TUPE programmes.

She also provides all levels of support in employment tribunal proceedings and has significant experience in presenting training for clients and HR professionals.

A long-distance runner and keen traveller, Jenny also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
