LOCAL HOMEBUILDER SUPPORTS COMMUNITY LIBRARY WITH £500 DONATION

Five star housebuilder David Wilson Homes has supported a local community library close to its new development Forest Chase with a kind-hearted donation of £500.

The funds have been put towards making improvements to the Leicester Forest East Community Library by making it more secure and are part of the developer’s commitment to the local area.

Local David Wilson Homes Site Manager Karl Chandler attended the library to show the developer’s support for the local community, where he was met by library trustees Georgina Robson and Lynn Ashton.

Georgina from the Leicester Forest East Community Library, said: “This donation has made a huge difference to our library users during library opening hours and the safety of the families and children attending Stafford Leys school. Their safety is paramount to us. We have had many positive comments from members of the public, praising the fact that we have claimed our car park back.”
